Dennis Allen Lieb

October 24, 1950 - July 16, 2020

Dennis Allen Lieb, 69, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, July 16, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was born on October 24, 1950 in Sandusky, OH to the late Richard and Phyllis (Steler) Lieb.

Dennis graduated from Margaretta High School in 1969 and worked at various factories. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Dennis was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed being with his family.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Thomas Eastman) Lieb of Findlay, OH; 2 sons, Adam (Elizabeth) Lieb of Sandusky, OH and Marcus (Misty) Trapp of Bayview, OH; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Lisa (John) Landoll of Columbus, OH; 2 brothers, Richard Lieb of Republic, OH and Brian (Robyn) Lieb of Sandusky, OH; dear friend, Robin Duncan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Debra (Caskey) Lieb who passed in 2014; 3 daughters, Deni Lieb, Jennifer Trapp and Charlotte Trapp; 3 brothers, Donald, Michael and William; 2 grandchildren and sister-in-law, Darlene Lieb.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870. Due to the pandemic, the family is requiring all attendees to wear a face covering. Please be respectful of social distancing guidelines. An additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 10 am until 11 am. A procession will follow and a graveside service will be held at 11:30 am at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron. Pastor Eric Bodenstab will be officiating.
