Nicholas A. "Nick" Kubitz

Nicholas A. "Nick" Kubitz, 38, of Sandusky, passed away early Friday morning, December 14, 2018, at his home.

Born on April 30, 1980, in Sandusky, OH the son of Gregory Howell and Marsha Ann Sellers. Nick was a graduate of Sandusky High School. Over the years, he had worked at McCarthy's Irish Pub, in Port Clinton, and later at Ryan's Buffet, in Sandusky, for over 10 years.

Nick liked fishing, but he especially enjoyed playing football with his friends in the Sandusky Youth Program when he was younger. He will be remembered by his family as a life time fan of Barry Sanders, the star running back for the Detroit Lions, and the Cleveland Cavaliers with LeBron James.

Nick is survived by his wife, Shelby L. (Faulkner) Kubitz; his children, Arianah L. Faulkner, Alycia M. Faulkner, Nicholas J. Kubitz and Anaysia L. Kubitz; his mother, Marsha A. (Sellers) Kubitz; two sisters, Kim A. (Matt) Zytkowicz and Kellie M. Kubitz; a brother, Jason C. (Vonda) Kubitz; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Clayton A. and Ruth C. (Kaman) Sellers; and an aunt, Judy K. (Sellers) Mitchell.

Cremation is to take place. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2018, from 5 pm until 7 pm, when a Time of Remembrance will be held with the sharing of memories of Nick by his family and friends at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
