Sharon Elaine Koch

August 9, 1945 - July 15, 2020

Sharon Elaine Koch, 74, residing in Wakeman, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Sharon was born on August 9, 1945 in Sandusky, OH to the late Francis Lynch and Martha (McCoy) Sturm.

Sharon was a member of the American Legion and Sandusky Eagles. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Marti (James) Burrus of NM; sons, Jesse (Diane) Akers of Wakeman, OH, Daniel Akers of PA, and Joseph (Cathy) Akers of Sandsuky, OH; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Koch; son, David "Charlie" Akers; brothers, Gary, Danny, Greg, and Herb Lynch; sister, Martha Taylor.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m until time of services at 12:00 p.m at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Luke Walters will be presiding.

Burial will be held at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park.
