Susan L. Howland

September 8, 1945 - February 8, 2019

Susan L. Howland, 73, residing in Sandusky passed away early Friday morning, February 8, 2019 at the Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

She was born on September 8, 1945 in Sandusky, OH to the late William W. and Eleanore (Perry) Till Sr.

Susan retired from Firelands Regional Medical Center in 2002 as a surgical nurse after 25 years of service.

Susan had been a member of the Sandusky Garden Club and was a former Board Member of the Sandusky Cultural Center.

Susan enjoyed crafts, making jewelry, knitting, going to thrift stores, antiques, music and spending time with her family and friends.

Susan is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Wahl of Norwalk, OH; two sons, Jason Howland of Sandusky and Dirk (Marissa) Howland of Madison, WI; four grandchildren, Parker, Ethan, Greer and Claudia; two sisters, Jenny (Dave) Schoewe of Sandusky and Sally Boysen of Columbus, OH; one brother, William (Cris) Till Jr. of Avon Lake, OH; special friend, Jim Boysen of Sandusky and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Till.

There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Internment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
