Elizabeth I. (Tokar) Horvat, 95, formerly of Huron, passed away Sunday, Oct 15, 2017 at Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk.
She was born Nov 6, 1921 in Sandusky and grew up in Lorain, Vermilion, and Huron.
She enjoyed bowling and had the highest women's scores in the Sandusky area. She also enjoyed quilting, garage sales, and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Brandmeier of Huron; granddaughter, Katherine Brandmeier; and 3 great-grandchildren, Jamie, Lea, Ele.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Horvat; a son, Lewis Horvat; husband, Lewis Horvat; 2 sisters, Margaret and Ann; and 3 brothers, Fran, Nick, and Louis Tokar; and granddaughter, Melisa.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron with Chaplin David Detwiler officiating.
Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
