Adene Mae (Roth) Graham

February 18, 1925 ~ January 7, 2019

Aldene Mae Roth Graham went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2019.

She was born on February 18, 1925 in Gridley, Illinois to Levi and Libbie Rupp Roth. She grew up on a farm and attended a one room schoolhouse during the Great Depression. After graduating from Gridley High School, she worked as secretary in Bloomington and Chicago, Illinois.

On June 26, 1948, Aldene married Donald Graham. They lived in New Jersey and then moved to Ohio in 1952. They were married for fifty-eight years. She is survived by Janett Williams of Lorain, Ohio; Kim (Andrea) Graham of McAllen, Texas; Joy (Gordon) Overs of Avon Lake, Ohio; and seven grandchildren: Chad, Cade, and Travis (Angela) Graham; Brie (Jeffery) Ellis; and Zach, Aaron, and Alyssa Overs.

Aldene had been an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Norwalk; Faith Baptist Church, Mount Vernon; and Faith Baptist Church, Amherst. She was dedicated to the ministry of missions and was known for her gift of hospitality and encouragement to others.

Aldene was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, geneology, and writing letters to friends and family. Her grandchildren were precious to her.

Aldene was preceded in death by her sister, LeAnn Roth Hauser, her parents, Levi and Libbie Rupp, and her husband, Donald Graham.

Visitation will be held at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main Street in Huron, on Saturday, January 12th from 11:00am--1:00pm. A private family funeral will be held at a different time.
