Steven Craig Fuhr

October 22, 1952 - January 24, 2019

Steven Craig Fuhr, 66, residing in Milan, passed away peacefully at home Thursday morning, January 24, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.

Steven was born on October 22, 1952 in Sandusky, OH to the late Carl Paul and Glenna (Karr) Fuhr.

Steven graduated from Sandusky High School and received his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. He was the founder and owner of Applied Safety Technology. Steven was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Steven is survived by his wife, Paula (Peterson) Fuhr. He is also survived by his daughter, Laura (James) Walker-Porter; son, Paul (Carrie) Fuhr; grandchildren, Elliott, Oliver and Mallory; sisters, Nancy (Gregg) Botbyl and Kitty (Jon) Jones; brothers-in-law, Steven and Joyce Peterson and Tom and Becky Peterson; sisters-in-law, Janice and Marvin Miller and Celine and Kevin Ostheimer and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Paul and Rosemary Peterson; son-in-law, Michael Walker and brother-in-law, Jim Drake.

Friends may call on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 pm until the time of memorial services at 6:00 pm at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky. Pastor Eric Lapata will officiate. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
