Beverly J. Finnen, 91, residing in Norwalk, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at Meadows of Osborn Park after a long fulfilling life.
Beverly was born May 10, 1932, in Norwalk, to Samuel Swicker and Florence (Dietrich) Swicker.
Beverly was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan and auxiliary member of Norwalk V.F.W. and American Legion Post #527 in Milan. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling early in her life, Cleveland sports teams, and spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events.
Beverly is survived by two sons, Lee (Debra) Finnen and Craig (Marilyn) Finnen, both of Berlin Heights; three daughters, Deb Finnen of Milan, Kathy (Steve) Kayatin of Lima, and Tammy (Nick) Blackford of Monroeville; 10 grandchildren, Jeff (Shelly) Finnen, Julie (Matt) Tyler, Corey, and Kelsey Finnen, Kristin (Chris) Wilson, Adam (Amy) and Scott (Hayley) Kayatin, and Gage, Wyatt, and Jordan Blackford; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Dick" Finnen; granddaughter, Megan Kayatin; and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes, 1 S. Main Street, Milan. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Milan, with Fr. Peter Grodi presiding. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Milan.
