Bonnie Carol Etter

December 21, 1949 - January 17, 2019

Bonnie Carol Etter, 69, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, January 17, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center.

Bonnie was born on December 21, 1949 in Bluefield, WV to the late George Glen and Sena Katherine (Yost) Etter.

Bonnie was a 1968 graduate from Port Clinton High School and received her bachelor's degree from Stautzenberger Business College. She spent 32 years at Murray & Murray Law Firm as a legal secretary and also bartended at the Camp Street Bar. Bonnie attended Wayside Temple and volunteered at Firelands Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, playing pool, reading and cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Jack) Huber of Grove City, OH; sons, Eric Aftoora of Sandusky and Brandon (Donna) Michel of TN; grandchildren, Isaiah, Kaylee and Gavin; sisters, Naomi Sue Arnold of Sandusky and Betty Baker of Walhonding, OH; former husband and long time friend, Greg Michel of Sandusky and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Snow and brothers, Frank and Roy Etter.

Private family services will be held. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
