David C. Bohley

June 18, 1943 ~ April 21, 2017

David C. Bohley, 73, of Milan Twp., passed away after an extended illness at his residence Friday, April 21, 2017.

He was born June 18, 1943 in Lorain and worked as a self-employed Commercial Diver for 47 years in the Northeast Ohio area.

He enjoyed traveling and inventing things. He invented the first underwater camera and received a patent for it.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Hummel) Bohley, married to for 24 years; his daughter, Jacqueline Bohley; a step-daughter, Cindy (Chris) Thomas of Amherst; two grandsons, Christopher and Marty Thomas; and a brother Phil (Lynn) Bohley of Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Lottie (Mowery) Bohley.

Cremation and a private service will take place at a later date.

Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family.
