William Behrens

William Behrens, 54, Succumbs After Long Illness

The death of William Behrens, Oxford Township farmer, occurred at his residence at 10:30 a.m. Monday, after a long illness. He was aged 54 years and was a life long resident of Erie County, having died in the same house in which he was born.

Surviving him are his widow and one son, Henry, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Rau of Huron and Mrs. William Schick of Norwalk; two brothers, John Behrens of Huron and Henry Behrens of Norwalk and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at the residence, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 with services at the Union Corners Church at 2 o’clock. Rev. Theo J. C. Stellhorn will officiate and burial will be made in Union Corners Cemetery.

Mrs. R. Rawle of Milan prepared the body for burial.
