Second is the Northern Ohio Lunatic Asylum, (also known as Cleveland State Hospital or Turney Tech), built 1854, demolished in 1977. It was located in what is today Garfield Park Reservation.
Newburgh Township, when originally surveyed, was known as Township 7 in Range 12 of the Connecticut New Western Reserve. The governmental body was formed in 1814. What was the township contains at least parts of Brooklyn Heights, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga Heights, Garfield Heights, Newburgh Heights, and Shaker Heights. (Information from Wikipedia)
