Lou Gent ROSSELOT

submitted by Yolanda Campbell Lifter

Leo Gent Rosselot, son of Chas. F. and Elizabeth Rosselot, was born February 8, 1918, being 15 years, 11 months and 8 days old.

Gent, as he was always called, leaves a father, mother, one sister, Lillian, and one brother, Carey; several aunts and uncles and a host of friends to mourn his loss. Realizing as he did that "Life is real. Life is Earnest" he began to prepare himself to meet it in a manly manner by giving his life in the fall of 1916 to the Lord Jesus Christ and by taking proper advantage of his school opportunities, being a Sophomore in High School. Here he was liked by all his fellow pupils and won the esteem and admiration of his instructors.

But certain as life "Death is ours."

"There fell upon the house a sudden gloom.

A shadow on those features thin and fair;

And, softly from that hushed and darkened room.

Two angels issued when one went in.
