Phyllis Fabri passed away Tuesday evening and the community has not yet recovered from the shock of the death of the popular young matron. Mrs. Fabri entered the hospital for treatment in June, and returned to her home July 25th. She was brought back to the hospital in Reno last night.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church. This evening members of the family will attend the recitation of the Rosary at the Freitas Funeral Chapel.

Phyllis was born in Goldfield, Nevada, on February 9, 1917. As a baby she was brought to Yerington when her father became manager of the Lam Hanson and Netherton store. The family remained in Yerington for a few years and later moved to Southern California.

In 1924, she returned to Yerington where the climate was more beneficial to her health and on June 16, 1935, she became the bride of Peter Fabri a young Yerington merchant. The couple led an ideal married life and were the proud parents of two sons, Dale and Bobbie, and a daughter, Karen.

Mrs. Fabri took an active interest in civic affairs as a member of the P.T.A., Junior and Senior Women’s clubs, and served on many other committees.

In addition to her grief-stricken husband and children, she is survived by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Harry Little of Inglewood, California, two sisters, Mrs. Gene Martin of Inglewood and Mrs. Robert Wild of Hawthorne, California, two brothers, Norman of Inglewood and Francis with the Air Force in the Far East.
