PROMINENT LOCAL BUSINESSMAN DIES (Obituary)

Louis Fabri died unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, February 8, 1958. He had suffered a mild case of the flu but had been about every day.
Funeral services were held at Holy Family Catholic church. Recitation of the rosary was held in the Freites funeral chapel on Monday night.
A Requiem Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Florence Flahive on Tuesday morning with Pio Galantuomini, Louis Francesconi, Frank Compston, Ugo Buonamici, Bill Simmons and Walter Cox as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Panelli, Frank Rosaschi, Charles Wood, Arthur Poli, Manuel Grulli and E. Aiazzi.
He was a charter member of the Yerington Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a former member of the Yerington Rotary club. At the time of his death, due to a heart attack, Louis was a prosperous businessman and history maker of Yerington. Yerington businesses closed for two hours during the funeral service.
