Mahitable purchased cemetery plot in the First Presbyterian Church on Academy Street in Rockaway, NJ, in July of 1870. Willed to John Till and brother Sylvester. Sylvester Till buried there along with other members of Till Family.

The following information on the children of Samuel and Mahitable was obtained at the NJ Bureau of Archives History, State Library, 185 W. State Street, Trenton, NJ.

Marriage of Sylvester Till on November 30, 1876 at the age of 39 years. Place of residence was Littleton, NJ. Occupation listed as laborer. Parents listed as Samuel S. and Mahitable Till. Married to Cornelia VanDerhoof, age 27, parents were William and Sara (Wooduff) Vanderhoof. Married by Rev. Fasgan at Parsippany, NJ, (Source: Copy of original marriage license: New Jersey State Archives, Trenton, NJ, Liber: BS, Page #114)

Sylvester Till is buried in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Plot E36. Died on April 8, 1917, at Denville at the age of 83 years, 10 months, 21 days. Buried April 11, 1917. Cause of death was heart disease – Dr. Flagg.

Sylvester Till Jr. also buried in Presbyterian Cemetery on February 25, 1962 at the age of 82 years. Son of Sylvester Till above, last residence was Dover, NJ.

Margaret Till, wife of Sylvester Till Jr., buried in Presbyterian Cemetery, died October 30, 1932, at the age of 62 years. Buried November 2, 1932.

Catherine Till married to Terrance Branmin on November 21, 1858 by Robert B. Gard in Morristown.

Whereas Peter Till, late of the Township of Randolph, died intestate and at the time of his death was lawfully seized and possessed of several lots of land situated in the Township of Randolph aforesaid and the said land and real estate late of the said Peter Till deceased, did descend to the said Rebecca Smith, Nathan Till, John Till, Samuel Till, Peter Till, Anna (Till) McCord, and Philip Till, his children and heirs at law. And they have divided said land and real estate among themselves so that each can hold their part

or share of said land in severalty. Now this indenture witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for, and in consideration of the said Rebecca Smith, releasing to each one of them their part or share of said land and real estate and also for and in consideration for the sum of $1.00 to them in hand paid by the said Rebecca Smith at and before the sealing and delivery of those present the receipt whereby is here acknowledged and the said parties of the first part are herewith fully satisfied, contented, and paid, hath given, granted, bargained, and sold, released, and quitclaimed the parcel of land now described.

UNVERIFIED INFORMATION:

The following information was obtained at the NJ Bureau of Archives History, State Library, 185 W. State Street, Trenton, NJ. Firm relationship as children of Samuel and Mahitable Till not yet made.

The death of Charles Till on December 19, 1876, married, at the age of 39 years. Place of death was Hudson County Smallpox Hospital, Jersey City, NJ, Cause of death was Viral Asthemia. (Liber: BC, Page #569)

(2) The following information was obtained at the Morristown Public Library, Morristown, NJ.

Cornelia Till, died on December 24, 1881, at the age of 33 near Morristown.
