I am trying to confirm the ancestry of Moses RITTENHOUSE (my 5^th great-grandfather) who died in Hunterdon Co., NJ c1774.  He was married twice: Sarah WOOD and Mary ?.  He had at least six children.  He is supposedly descended from Wilhelm RITTENHOUSE who came to the US in 1688 with his children: Nicholas (Claus), Gerhardt (Garret), & Elizabeth.  He may have been a Mennonite.
