I am trying to locate information on my husband's gr. gr. gr. grandfather and grandmother. Christian ALMAS and Magdalena BACHER(BAKER). CHRISTIAN was a soldier and Magdelina the daughter of a farmer HENRY BAKER. Magdelina was born in 1749 and Christian in 1749. Apparently one of their sons Henry was baptized in the Zion Lutheran Church New Germantown (now Oldwick Hunterdon County Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
