Looking for the VANHORN family - specifically Joseph S VANHORN who was born 11 November 1818 in Bucks County, PA, married 19 September 1840 to Elizabeth Hardon who died prior to 1860. He remarried Caroline Blackwell in December 1860. I find Joseph and Caroline in Reaville in 1870, and Readington in 1880 and 1885. (NJ State Census). Caroline was much younger than Joseph. When did he die? Where is he buried? His son was Jonathon VANHORN b 12 Nov 1841 in PA, married 2 March 1871 to Mary Elizabeth Stryker in Somerset Co, died 9 October 1906 in Hopewell Twp., Mercer, NJ. |
