DORLAND, JOHN AND WIFE CATHARINE. Looking for information on John Dorland and his family. He and wife Catharine baptized Johannis at the Readington DRC in 1761, he appears on the NJ Revolutionary War Census of 1776 as from Amwell-Hunterdon Co. It is possible that he is connected to the Morris County Dorlands, or northern Somerset (Bound Book) Dorlands, but he is not the son of Lambert Dorland of Montgomery Twp, Somerset Co, NJ. Need more information on this man and his parents. |
