I am searching for information about William HUMMER, born about 1813 in NJ. He married a Margaret H. SMITH. This family resided in Democrat Twp. HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ in 1850. William and Margaret were the parents of Jacob S. HUMMER, b July 1841; Anna "Bessie" E. J. HUMMER James H. T. HUMMER, John T. HUMMER, b 1850 Andrew HUMMER, b 1858; JOSEPH Hummer b 1860, George W. b 1853; and Robert b 1855. This family is found in Kingwood Twp. HUNTERDON COUNTY in 1870. Is Tunis HUMMER the father of William HUMMER? William died Sept 1896, possibly Kingwood Twp., and Margaret died in Frenchtown, bet. 1910 and 1920. |
