Born January 1847, Austria (Kaschau, Hungary). She is listed with 2 sons, Louis Kossuth (May 29, 1877-July 18, 1938, Lebanon, St. Clair County, Illinois) and William (March 1887). Louis is listed as a school teacher (probably near or in Pattenburg, NJ). Klara Kovacs Oppitz is listed as a Widow, and I know that she was alive when my grandparents Louis K. Oppitz and Nell Griswold were married in June 6, 1905, Lebanon, Warren County, Ohio. The story is that Klara Kovacs Oppitz died in an institution of some sort in Hunterdon County.
