KYPLE (KIPLE,GIBLE,KEIPLE)/BERRY/COMBS/HAN (HANN,HAND)/BONHAM
We have the 1794 Will of immigrant Jacob GIBLE Sr. but the name is spelled
KYPLE thru out and only looks like GIBLE for his signature. We have info
about his son Jacob KYPLE Jr. and then his son George KIPLE
(1790's-1850's?) who marries Sarah BERRY (1793-1893). From what we can
guess so far the immigrants were definitely in Amwell, Hunterdon Co., NJ
prior to that 1794 Will as he talks about buying land from COMBS and we
have a map with lands marked accordingly. The Will is signed by William
HAN and Uriah BONHAM...both surnames appear to marry into the family later
on...I'd love to hear from anyone with any connection to these
surnames...or I'd love to hear from others with connections to Amwell Twp
during the 1790's...I have no clue about researching that far back, where
ships passengers were landing & traveling, etc.
