SOVERNS/BRYANT
SOVERNS AND BRYANT FAMILIES IN HUNTERDON CO. NJ
Daniel Soverns and Daniel Bryant both appear in the 1830 Hunterdon Co. Census. Exploring possibility that there is some connection between these men and my gggg grandfather, Daniel Bryant Soverns, who married Elizabeth Arnold (nee Risley) in Jefferson Co. KY in 1791. The Risleys were originally from New Jersey. Daniel Bryant Soverns migrated from KY with the Arnold and Risley families around 1800 and settled in Knox/Pike Co. IN. He died there in 1829. Bryant and Elizabeth Soverns had children Archibald, Silas, George W., Elizabeth, Patience and Nancy. Any help in determining Daniel Bryant Soverns' origins is greatly appreciated.
