AM(M)ERMAN
We are looking for information on the AM(M)ERMAN family that lived in or near Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon County in the mid to late 1700's. We are especially looking for the father of a PHIL(L)IP AM(M)ERMAN who may have been a descendant of the Dutch family from Long Island, Queen and/or King County. Many of this family lived near Somerset or Readington as well, and may have moved to the Conewago settlement in the late 1700's. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
