GEORGE W. WOOLEY christened: 26 Sept 1836 in Oldwick, Hunterdon, NJ (or maybe German Valley, Morris, NJ) B: March 1836 D: somewhere in Mass about 1916-1920. Father; George P. Wooley, Mother; Charlotte Shotwell. George had two sisters, family called them Libbie and Lottie. George W. was bound out by father to a blacksmith in NY (14-18 year old) he ran away and sailed on the Whaler Ganges from Nantucket Ma. Moved to Sparta ILL. with sisters, from there served in Civil War. 1866 m: Louisa A. Sturdevant in Bellevue MI. Please contact me if you can connect the family..
