He married Elizabeth (?). Their children are William, Elsa, Margaret, Mary, Anna, Captain Jacob, and George. Captain Jacob GEARHART b. 1735 in Strasburg, France or Germany, came to America in 1754 and made his home in Hunterdon Co., NJ soon after that. He married Catherine KLINE. William GEARHART, married Eleanor DENIGHT. George GEARHART b. 1741 d. 1828 in Lebanon, Hunterdon Co., NJ married Anna VAN HORN bef 1770 in Hunterdon Co., NJ. George GEARHART's son David GEARHART married Elizabeth KLINE.
