STRODE
I am seeking information on the background of a Barnett/Barnard STRODE who arrived in America as a 5-year-old orphan in 1697. He is said to have been taken to Amwell, N.J., by his adult care-givers. I am trying to indentify the family members among the passengers of the vessel in which this child crossed the Atlantic. Whatever incorrect buttons I may be punching here, I am seriously interested in the STRODE/STROUD ancestry of early years (basically beginning in Virginia ca. 1690-1750).--
