I am researching the RUCKMAN family of Hunterdon Co NJ, Hampshire Co, WV, Washington Co PA. I'm interested in any information on this family in NJ, how they relate to the families in the other areas mentioned and anyone researching these families.

John RUCKMAN b ca 1743 m 1770 to Elizabeth ?. He wasa revolutionary war vet (have pension decl). They were married by Dr. Witherspoon of Princeton. John & Eliz had 5 ch in NJ and 5 more after they arrived in Amwell Twp, Washington Co PA in 1785. About the same time, a couple of RUCKMANS migrated to the Romney area of VA (WV). I'm trying to determine Johns parentage, Elizabeth's surname and how he was related to the RUCKMANS who went to WV
