HUFF
I am searching for any information on a Charles W. (believed Wessley) HUFF. He was born 11/10/1810. Do not know identity of parents and siblings. Moved to the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, Lycoming County, in early 1800's. Was a lumberman who lived in and near Williamsport, PA. Married Sarah Ann COWDRICK (abt1835) d/o Isaac COWDRICK, also originally of Hunterdon County. Isaac COWDRICK also moved to Lycoming Co. to start a tavern business.
I have an 1850 census from Lycoming County that has his mother (possibly) with him; Susanna HUFF b.1778. The HUFF's were Methodists.
Any information would be helpful.
