INGERSON and HUNT
Most of the Ingerson family members from Jefferson, New Hampshire would have Native
ancestry from the Abenaki Village that was located in Jefferson. The New Hampshire historical resources have dated the village 8,000 years old. My Great Grandmother, Flora Una Anna Ingerson Hunt, came from that village. I am looking for relatives. I am also Chief of the Cowasuck Abenaki www.cowasuckabenaki.org and would like anyone who has Abenaki ancestry to know they are eligible to apply for a tribal membership.

His father and mother were Jean-Baptiste Coté and Mathilde Trudel. Her father and mother were Grégoire Therrien and Virginie Goulet. Albert and Délina lived in Berlin, New Hampshire in 1905 and were married about 1908. Thanks in advance if you can help me find them.

Their children were: Angelina, b. 18 July 1915; Laura, b. 24 July 1919, both at Racine Parish St-Theophile, Shefferd, Québec, Canada; Their birth certificates said the parents came from the parish of St-Francois-Xavier, New-Hampshire. The brother of Albert, Eugene Coté died in Berlin NH, 23 April 1941. The names of their (Albert and Eugene) siblings are: Mathilde, Alderic, Alexandrine, Jean-Baptiste, and Wilfrid Coté. Délina’s siblings are Marie-Louise, Napoleon, Eugenie, Bella, Samuel, Arthur, and Therese Therrien.

I have a picture of Délina and Albert wedding that says 1908 on the back. My older sister told me that they where married in the U.S.A and that they where living in Berlin

ATKINSON, CHESTER: I am searching for the death records for Robert and Maria (Chester) Atkinson. The last record I have of them is the 1880 Censes living in Stark, Coos County, NH, with their son, Freeman Atkinson, daughter, Martha Sheridan and her daughter, Cora Sheridan. In the 1870 Census they were in Northumberland, Coos. In the 1850 Census they were in Granby, Essex, VT. According to the census record, both Martha and Freeman were born in NH in 1857 and 1859.
~ Ann Ingalls, Canada aingalls@mts.net 10/2/2008

I have found the death records for Robert and Maria Chester Atkinson. Robert died 27 Aug 1889 in Groveton Essex NH. Maria died 25 Nov 1907 in Groveton. Robert's death record indicates his father was William. There is a William Atkinson living next to Robert's family in the 1850 census of Granby, Essex VT with his wife, Fannie. I suspect that this is Robert's father. William is also shown in the 1860 census living with Fannie in Maidstone, Essex, VT. So now I am looking for the death record of William to see if I can trace him back to England where both he and Robert were born. Robert was born in 1821 and William about 1794.

MORAN, HERERON, McCREA:
I am conducting a family enquiry into the following families:
William Moran and Marie Lemieux. Their marriage took place in 1885 under special circumstances by the church. The question I am trying to determine is which family William would come from - would it be the Patrick Moran and Ellen McGee union. To my records their union was that of 10 children. There is no William Moran listed - however due to their families originating from Quebec it could be that William was born there - and I am trying to determine such. If this were the case william I would be his great grandnephew. Were there any children from this Union in your records?

Rose Hereron and James McCrea. Rose was born to a family from Ireland (FERMANAGH) - Patrick and Bridget Doud. Do the records show when Rose came to the United States of America? Do they show any other records? I show that this great grandaunt would been born around 1812 and that she would have married around 1840 to James McCrea - also of Ireland. They would have had approximately 8 children.

Rose's Sister - Alice was my great grandmother and we (family) are looking at several avenues here based on family spelling - Hereron, Hearn, Hererran, etc.

Thank You for you anticipated help in this enquiry.

TALBOT/BROOKS: I am seeking info on my Talbot family who resided in Whitefield in the early 1900's. Arthur Francis Talbot married Laura E. Brooks about 1915. All 3 of their children were born in Whitefield. I believe they were married in Whitefield. The Brooks family appears on the 1900 Whitefield Census. Marlin Brooks was a mill worker and from English Canada; his wife was Lumina. There were 9 children in the family of whom Laura was the oldest. Arthur F. and Laura are recorded in the 1920 & 1930 Census of Danvers, MA. There was one other Talbot in Whitefield, John and Agnes Talbot. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you.
