26 July 1942 - He became a POW of the Japanese Army in the "Fall Of The Philippines" in May, 1942
U.S. Army- Pvt. Edward R. Coffey - 34 years old - 9th Infantry Division, 60th Infantry Division "Killed in Action"
13 July 1944 - France
U.S. Air Force - 2nd Lieutenant Charles B. Coutts - 21 years old - 39th Bomber Group, 61st Bomber Squadron "Missing in Action"
28 Apr. 1945 - His "B-29" took off from Tinian on a bombing mission. They were rammed by a Japanese kamikaze and crashed at sea.
Some members of this crew were sighted for 2 days in rafts, the weather prevented rescue. The third day, no one found.
