Abbott Families

John Abbott, Jr. born 3 Aug 1758, died 1837, was the son of John Abbott of Portsmouth, NH. John Abbott, Jr. was a revolutionary pensioner and resided in North Berwick, Maine. He married Martha Twombly.
Children:

1) Hull Abbott, born 1780-81 at Berwick, Maine, died 22 Dec 1852 at Ossipee, NH; son of John Abbott. Hull Abbott married by Elder Nathaniel Lord on 5 Jan 1804, Mary Twombly, daughter of Ezekiel Twombly of Berwick, Maine. We know that Hull Abbott had a son John F Abbott because it is so stated in Deed #14 page 242 of Carroll Co. Reg. Deeds. He put up his farm for collateral to a Bracket Wiggen in 1849, John F. Abbott said land deeded to me by my father Hull Abbott. We know that George Abbott connected to Hull Abbott his brother was written in Deed book #5 page 80 of Carroll Co Reg. Deeds at Ossipee, NH. George Abbott is stated that this land he was selling to John Abbott was the land he shared in common with his brother, Hull Abbott.
