Throughout this time he bought and sold land on which to conduct his varied businesses.

- This elevator photo has 1895 hand written in the corner. The photo is of Thad and Violet (Clark) Stevens, Herbie Larsen Clark (the young boy born March 11, 1890), Eliza Morris, and Frank Solomon, according to the Creston Centennial History book. The elevator was built in 1895 and was managed by Darwin I. Clark from 1895-1897.

- The family is pretty sure this is a 1910 Graduation photo-Creston High School Ada Dora (Wenk) Clark is seated in the front row (4th girl from the left). Fern (Moore) Wenk is seated in the front row (3rd girl from the left). John Foley was noted as an early teacher in District 33 Creston, Nebraska (only male referenced) and is possibly the teacher shown. Others noted as graduates of the 1910 class were Florence Belknap, May Burnam, and Lena Claussen but are not identified.
