First Boesch of St. Francis Parish is Andrew Boesch Sr., b Jan 26, 1845, Wurttenberg, Germany. Andrew, m Clara Breunig, who was b May 18, 1854, Chicago, Illinois. According to the St. Francis bio they are not sure who Clara's parents are, but they go on to say there is a Joseph Breunig buried at St. Francis who was born Feb 2, 1827 and d May 16, 1910; "he may have followed Clara and his son Henry J. to this area after the death of his wife."

Andrew and Clara lived in Iowa; first child was baptized at State Center, Iowa; moved to St. Bernard community around 1877. Andrew, d Apr 25, 1929; Clara, d Nov 20, 1938; both buried St. Francis.
Marge's notes:
**Entry p04a D054 F054 from 1900 St. Bernard Twp Census indicates Andrew Boesch immigrated in 1867.
**The researcher who requested this bio indicates Clara was a daughter of Joseph Breunig. Same researcher earlier requested bio for LOEFFLER Family, which also mentions Joseph "Bruennig".

*Marge's note: Birthdates noted in italics are from the 1900 St. Bernard Twp Census

KRINGS

Frank KRINGS, b in 1818, d December 22, 1983 (sic) [1883?], buried St. Francis.

The following may be descended from Frank:

I. Josephine KRINGS, b 1850 in Germany, m Gustav Joseph THELEN. Immigrated 1870. Lived in Polk County, Nebraska until Gustav d 1888. Josephine moved to Humphrey, d March 13, 1915, buried St. Francis.
Marge's note: See entry p04a D066 F068 for 1900 Granville Twp Census.

II. Joseph KRINGS, m Mary WUNDERLICH, came to Burrows Township, Platte County, 1873, however a St. Francis baptism record shows a son b Wisconsin 1876. Lived in rural St. Anthony community.
Marge's note: See entry p05a D074 F077 in 1900 Joliet Twp Census. This appears to be the Frank and Caroline KRINGS family listed as child 2 below. Birthdate on census for Frank is Aug 1870 instead of 1876 as noted below. If Frank's birthdate is 1870 then the statement that Joseph and Mary WUNDERLICH KRINGS came to Platte county in 1873 is possible. Emil would not be first born, and was probably born in Nebraska, not Wisconsin.

The following are found in St. Francis marriage register:

III. Emil KRINGS, m Johanna RUDISHER settled in rural St. Anthony Community, buried St. Anthony's.
Marge's note: See entry p03b D042 F042 in 1900 Burrows Twp Census. Appears to be this Emil and Johanna KRINGS family; gives additional info on children.

IV. Adelaide KRINGS m Gerhard GRONENTHAL.
Marge's note: See entry p05b D083 F084 in 1900 Lost Creek Twp Census for additional information. I do not have the St. Francis biographies for the GRONENTHAL family.
