The County Poor Farm Cemetery was located in the NW 1/4 of Section 36-5-15
on the eastern edge of the farm grounds. Many of the residents of the
farm who died, were buried in this cemetery. The graves were recorded and
marked but not all had tombstones. When the [Nemaha] County Farm was
discontinued the cemetery was abandoned and the land sold.
