The T.J. Majors Training School, Peru, Nebraska, about 1915.

For decades, this building—on the Peru State College campus—served as a public school and as a training facility for the College's student teachers. The basement housed science laboratory rooms and the band room. The first floor provided offices for the superintendent and classrooms for grades one through eight. Classrooms for grades nine through twelve were on the third floor.
