The Goosman Cemetery was located in Section 14-5-14, northeast of Auburn.
The land surrounding the cemetery was owned by Mary E. Goosman. This
small cemetery, surrounded by pasture land, was used largely for the burial
of neighborhood children. Before it was abandoned, there were eight
or ten marked graves.
