Clarence Goodrum
Heartwell resident, 49
Hastings - Clarence “Motor Head” Goodrum, 49, of Heartwell died Monday, June 2, 2003 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Eaton Cemetery in Heartwell. Layton Funeral Home in Minden is in charge of arrangements.
He was born August 15, 1953 in Houston to Clarence and Helen (Hanlin) Goodrum.
He grew up in the Houston area.
He moved to Heartwell in 1990.
He was a vendor at Harley Davidson shows.
He also had his own business in Heartwell.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; daughters, Kelly Streeter of Conroe, Texas and Jolene Lempka of Minden; three grandchildren; stepson, Richard Sinner of Heartwell; and stepdaughter, Season Sinner of Heartwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Dora Gramke
Upland resident, 93
Minden - Dora B. Gramke, 93 of Upland died Tuesday July 22, 2003 at Bethany Home in Minden.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Minden with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating. Burial will be at Upland Cemetery.
Visitation will be until 5 p.m. and from 7-8 p.m. today at Layton Funeral Home in Minden.
She was born Oct. 16, 1909 in Smith County, Kansas to August and Minnie (Ratsch) Fulle.
She attended rural schools near Athol, Kansas and graduated from high school in Smith Center, Kansas in 1927.
On Oct. 16, 1929 she married Carl Gramke in Athol. They lived and farmed near Upland. Her husband died in 1987.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Upland, where she was active in Ladies Aid, the church choir and Lutheran Layman’s League. She was also a member of the Upland Community Chorus and helped with the Upland History Book. She later became a member of the church in Minden.
Survivors include her son, Merrill of Upland; daughter Dolores Soucie of Upland, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
