The first death was recorded about 1890. This area was settled by people from Czechoslovakia in the area of Bohemia and most from Moravia. Joseph Ambrosek was first undertaker and kept the record book in Czech. language from 1890 to 1908. No deaths recorded in this book from 1902 to 1908. Frank Voda took over the duties in 1908 to 1916. After 1916 the records were kept in English.
