A commercial bank charter was issued today to the Bank of Leigh. State Banking Superintendent Ben Saunders took the step after the Leigh Cooperative Credit association withdrew its objection.
The wedding of Miss May Ann Philson of Leigh, and Lester Fisher, of Central City, took place in the Church of Holy Ghost in Omaha. The ring ceremony was used. Rev. Father H.P. Varanton officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Philson.
