EMMA REZNICEK DIES MAY 27
Emma Reznicek, 81, Schuyler, died May 27, 1994, at Schuyler Nursing Center where she had been a resident since Jan. 21.
Father Ralph Lammers officiated at the May 31, 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rosary was recited Monday evening at Svoboda Funeral Home, North Chapel. Burial was in Schuyler Cemetery.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were grandchildren: Kevin Muff, Todd Reznicek, Bill Reznicek, Randy Reznicek, Doug Milhulka, Larry Reznicek, Patti Beaudoin, Mike Reznicek, Becky Knoell, Deb Gall, Tim Reznicek, Jacci Reznicek, Tom Muff, Robert Reznicek, Jon Reznicek, Dave Milhulka, Dawne Miller, Marty Reznicek, Brenda Reznicek and Jeff Muff.
The daughter of Joseph and Mary Budin Semerad, she was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Dodge where she attended a rural school. On Feb. 10, 1931, she was married to Adolph Reznicek at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tabor. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1982. Mrs. Reznicek worked in the laundry at Memorial Hospital for 18 years.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Norbert and Roberta, Fremont, David and Pat, North Bend, Kenneth and Phyllis Perez, Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Milhulka, Norfolk, Mrs. Dwayne (Lauretta) Muff, Omaha; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Two grandsons, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Memorials are suggested to Schuyler Nursing Center, All Faiths Chapel.
