ONDRACEK, JOHN CHARLES [October 12, 1898 - July 6, 1989]
JOHN C. ONDRACEK DIES AT HOSPITAL
    John C. Ondracek, 90, died July 6, 1989, at Memorial Hospital. Prior to his hospitalization he had been a resident of Schuyler Nursing Center.
    Father Herman Kornbrust officiated at the Sunday, 1 p.m. rosary service at Kucera-Rozanek Chapel. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Kans.
    John Charles, son of Karel and Barbara Matous Ondracek, was born Oct. 12, 1898, in Steter Moravia, Czechoslovakia. He graduated from Schuyler High School in 1919. On Sept. 11, 1926, he married Gladys Easley in San Francisco, Calif.
    Ondracek was a professional international wrestler under the name "Father George McCloud" until 1932, when he purchased a 50-acre farm in Pataskala, Ohio. He also became chief of security for Kaiser Aluminum. Ondracek had been a resident of the nursing center since 1986.
    He is survived by a son, Harold, Berkeley, Calif., nieces and nephews.

ONDRACEK, FRANK C. [Nov. 29, 1916 - Oct. 8, 1989]
FRANK ONDRACEK FUNERAL OCT. 12
    Father Anthony Tresnak will officiate at the 10 a.m. funeral service today, Oct. 12, for Frank C. Ondracek, 72, at Svoboda Funeral Home. Military gravesite services at Schuyler Cemetery will be conducted by McLeod Post 47, American Legion, and Hespen-Mitchell Post 4836, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    Ondracek died Oct. 8, 1989, at Valhaven Nursing Home, Valley, where he had been a resident since Sept. 13, 1983.
    The son of Anton and Frantiska Cerny Ondracek, he was born Nov. 161, 1916 in Schuyler where he attended school. Ondracek served in the United States Army from June 8, 1939 until Dec. 18, 1939. He lived most of his life in Omaha where he was employed at a packing plant. His wife, the former Mary Jane Hoffman, died July 27, 1963.
    A sister-in-law Agnes Ondracek, Richland, and nephew, Myron Ondracek, Fort Calhoun, survive.
    He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
