ADOLPH E. BRICHACEK FUNERAL IS JAN. 22
Adolph E. Brichacek, 76, retired farmer, died Monday at the Extended Care
Unit, Memorial Hospital.
Father Anthony Pluhacek will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian
Burial today, Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tabor. Rosaries were
recited Wednesday evening at Svoboda Funeral Home and burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Lichtenberg, Lynn Wooldrik, Dale and Jay
Brichacek, Norman Jedlicka and Donald Schmitz.
Born in Colfax County Aug. 7, 1910, to Frank W. and Mary Semerad Brichacek,
he received his education in Colfax County District 22 school. On Sept. 15,
1931, he married Lillian Ladehoff at St. Mary's Tabor. They moved to
Schuyler in 1973.
Survivors include his wife, son Gerald A., Dodge, daughter (Jeanette) Mrs.
Joe Lichtenberg, Dodge, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one
sister, Emma Jedlicka, Norfolk.
A son, Gilbert, preceded him in death.
