ONDRACEK, BARBORA (MATOUS) [Feb. 14, 1860 - Dec. 7, 1943]
MRS. BARBARA ONDRACEK SERVICES TO BE FRIDAY
Mrs. Barbara Ondracek, 83, died in her sleep early Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Stanley J. Ondracek and wife in the Third ward. Mrs. Ondracek had been bedfast for the past two years.
Mary Matous, daughter of John and Anna Matous, was born in Trebic, Moravia, Feb. 14, 1860. She grew to womanhood in her native country. She and Charles Ondracek were married in Trebic Jan. 2, 1881. Mr. and Mrs. Ondracek and family came to the United States in 1906. They came direct to Schuyler where the parents' remaining years were spent.
Mrs. Ondracek was a member of the Z.C.B.J. lodge.
The following children survive: Charles of near Rogers, Tony, Mrs. John Machacek of Colfax county, Rudolph of Newman Grove, John of Pataskala, O., Stanley J. of Schuyler and Anna Vychita, who still resided in Moravia. Other survivors include a sister in Moravia, 34 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The husband, a son, Anton, and a daughter, Mary, Mrs. Edward Nemec of Omaha, preceded Mrs. Ondracek, in death.
Funeral services will burial in the Schuyler cemetery will be held at the Bideaux chapel Friday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. B.A. Filipi of Clarkson officiating.
