JUNGBLUTH, OTTO J. [June 25, 1872 - June 9, 1942]
Otto J. Jungbluth, 69, retired Colfax county farmer, suffered a fatal heart attack about 2 o'clock Tuesday morning. He died at 7 o'clock in the evening.
Otto J. Jungbluth was born on his parents' farm in Grant precinct June 25, 1872. He was the son of Fritz and Marie Jungbluth, early homesteaders in Colfax county.
Mr. Jungbluth's entire life was spent in Colfax county and in Schuyler. He and Miss Nora Maple were married March 30, 1897.
Mr. and Mrs. Jungbluth farmed the old home place for 40 years. They retired in the spring of 1938 and moved to Schuyler.
The widow and the following children survive: Harold F. Jungbluth of Omaha; Miss Hildred Jungbluth of Schuyler and Lenora, wife of Perry Payzant of Colfax county.
Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Arthur A. Shuster of Glendale, Calif., and Miss Clara Jungbluth of Los Angeles, Calif., two brothers, Walter of Albuquerque, N.M., and Louis of Fort Worth, Texas, and five grandchildren.
A son, Otto Jr., died April 30, 1941.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Bideaux chapel, Rev. F. M. Druliner, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will take place in the Schuyler cemetery.
