ONDRACEK, FRANTISKA "FRANCES" (CERNY) [December 15, 1885 - May 25, 1941]
MRS. FRANCES ONDRACEK
    Mrs. Frances Ondracek, 55, widow of Anton Ondracek, died at St. Mary's hospital in Columbus Sunday morning at 6 o'clock. She was taken to the Columbus hospital last Thursday evening. Mrs. Ondracek had been in declining health following a paralytic stroke May 23, 1940.
    Miss Frances Cerny was born in Sebkovice, Moravia, Dec. 15, 1885. She grew to womanhood in her native land. It was in 1910 that she came to Schuyler direct from Moravia. Her remaining years with the exception of three years spent on a Colfax county farm in the Wilson vicinity, where lived in Schuyler.
    Mr. and Mrs. Ondracek were married in Schuyler, Feb. 27, 1911, by Adolph Fiala, county judge. Mr. Ondracek died April 26, 1932.
    Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary, three sons, Anton J., Frank C. and Stanley A. Ondracek, all of Schuyler, and two brothers, Charles Cerny, farmer north of Rogers, and Frank Cerny residing in Sebkovice, Moravia.
    Funeral services were held at the Bideaux chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 following a brief service at the home at 2 o'clock. Rev. B. A. Filipi of Clarkson officiated.
    Miss Bozena and Geroge C. Novotny sang two duets -- "Lead Me Gently Home, Father," and "Farewell to You" in Bohemian. Mr. Novotny sang "Sunrise" as a solo.
    Pallbearers were Stanley Cerny, Adolph Cerny, Joseph Novotny, Martin Kracl, Joseph Yost and Joseph Ondracek.
    Burial was made in the Schuyler cemetery.
