All charities had in him large-hearted supporter and we all will really miss him. On his burial was clear that he was reputable by all people - how many friends came from neighbourhood and far places too to say him their good-bye. People came from distance of 150 miles. Brother Folda died fast, he had heart-disease caused by all those strokes of fate he went through. In world war was killed his only son and great stroke came to bank he led and also to another he had his interests in. It was painful stroke not just because he lost all his savings, but some people, for who he did a lot, hadn't believe him after this loss - and this was the reason that quickened his death. --- Brother Folda was born on 16th May 1866 in Manitowoc, Wis. and was the son of Jan Folda, who moved with his wife to America from Holovousy by Pilsen to Heun (between Clarkson and Schuyler). When he was 21, he moved to Schuyler to his uncle Frank Folda, where he took up his indentures as a merchant. He was for few years treasurer of Main Office of WCBU and on its last congress he was elected as a member of financial commitee to advise in investments. The burial was on 2nd November from the house to the hall of WCBU and then he was buried in family tomb near Heun how he wished - near his parents, where he lived in youth. At home and in hall spoke in Czech and English his friend brother Karel Smrha from Lincoln, and Mrs. Bl. Pospichalova sang songs "Zasvit mi ty slunko", "Pohadka mladi" nad "Kde domov muj."
