Veronica Gourlay wrote, "It seems to be all one cemetery. The section that is called Holy Trinity lies in the middle. It has an old gate and entrance. To the east of it, with no fence in between, lies a very old section, many of the graves barely marked and many illegible stones. I don't know if this is considered part of the Holy Trinity cemetery or not. It seems to be from pioneer times. Adjoining Holy Trinity on the west, closest to Brainard, is a new Brainard cemetery, separated only by a fence and having it's own entrance. It has all modern flat stones."
