| Thompson, Alice Irene (1911-2007 age 96) A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in Westminster Presbyterian Church for Alice Irene Thompson, who died Nov. 6, 2007 at age 96. Alice Mohler was born Aug. 9, 1911, in Octavia, Neb. A teacher, she moved to Alaska in 1946 and received a master's degree from the University of Alaska. She moved to Portland in 2001. In 1954, she married Densil "Tommy"; he died in 1984. Survivors include her sisters, Bertha Taliaferro and Donna Graham; brothers, Melvin Mohler and Marvin Mohler; and nieces and nephews.
